Over at Smash Brothers Dojo, game creator Masahiro Sakurai has been posting updates each weekday about the game. Today, to most gamer’s dismay, it has been announced on the site that Brawl will use random friend codes like the ones used for Nintendo DS Wi-Fi play. When you play online multi-player, you choose between playing with friends and playing with random strangers. When you play against friends, battle records are kept and you may enter short messages which are displayed during battle. These options are not available when challenging a stranger. At the end of the post, Sakurai mentions that more announcements will be made later regarding online play modes – keep your fingers crossed for a different way to connect with friends!

Nintendo’s Friend Code system may not be the best for hard core gamers but if you head over to http://www.NintendoWorlds.com you can get around that system.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl Friend codes can be easily traded and its also a great Nintendo Forum. Check it out!
